Important elements that make effective booth designs

Category: Exhibition Design | March 9, 2010

When displaying your products at a trade show or exhibition, the type of booth design you use is important. Companies should understand that it is the booth design that draws visitors to the products. A well designed booth is the key to increasing sales at an exhibition or trade show. Various elements are used to design these structures and make them inviting to potential customers.

However, getting the combination of these elements right is not simple. Here are some simple things to keep in mind when planning a booth design.

• The layout is the first thing to decide when planning a booth design. Keep in mind that you have to include your products, additional displays and literature if any. So make sure you have adequate room for everything you want to display

• Colour is another important element to consider when designing a trade show booth. Use vibrant colours that will grab the attention of customers or the company’s colours if it has specific ones

• Appropriate lighting is also required to make your booth design stand out. White lights are generally the best option. However, you can use coloured lights in your booth design but make sure they look pleasant. This will attract customers and help to display products as well

• You can also use additional promotional displays like banners, pop-up stands or electronic displays to make your booth design more attractive.

The elements you can use are endless when it comes to designing effective trade show booths. However, if you do not want to make a costly mistake, hire a professional exhibition service to design and set up your booth design.
